Follow Margo Burns' Biking Adventure
7/12/2001

Margo BurnsStaff member Margo Burns, who runs the St. Paul's School Language Center, is a week away from embarking on a 325-mile cycling journey between Bear Mountain, New York, and Boston, Massachusetts.

Beginning on July 19, Burns will join 3,100 other cyclists on a four-day ride as part of Tanqueray's Northeast AIDSRide, which raises money for AIDS research and patient services. As of July 9, Burns' Web site (ogram.org) reported that she had already exceeded the ride's $2,100 fundraising minimum with pledges totaling an impressive $5,626, much of that generated through generous donations from members of the St. Paul's School community.

Those wishing to follow Margo's progress as she cycles across the Northeast can do so by checking her Web site at http://www.ogram.org/aidsride/journal/index.html. Burns will be submitting daily journal updates from the road using a Palm VIIx with wireless Internet capability.
